Inherited Traits Activity, In this activity students learn about inherited traits by creating an offspring from the traits of two. parent plants The traits are chosen randomly from trait selection cards and students draw the new. flower based on the traits selected, This is a fun and meaningful activity for students to complete during your study of inherited traits. It can be adapted for several grade levels and completed at any time during the unit This makes a. great bulletin board display as students are able to see all the flower variations at the same time. Students can also draw the plants in interactive notebooks Students can share these in small groups. or in front of the whole class and the different varieties could be discussed at that time.
